If going by the old adage; that time is money, then your ROI (return on investment) for putting your time into any Social Media structure must be justified by the return you get from your involvement in what you are doing. If it gives you pleasure, then that is a return, to simply do something because it is a trend is wasteful and as a user you need to take a step back and analyse what your value is.
