artnspire.com
In 2008, under the Entertainment umbrella of the DMG-network, the Artnspire.com was purchased. The idea was originally to promote an artist’s website however nothing materialised from this and the domain was sat on for a number of months.
Then it came to the fore with the idea of it being an art information platform and a catch-all for all things art related coming from within the DMG-network.
The site has grown and yes, it is on a wordpress multi-site installation.
One sub directory section we have covers the Performance Arts under www.artnspire.com/performing
As we develop we shall need to find a more decent solution for the Performing Arts however for now it shall serve its purpose.
The Art platform is developing with definite intentions, the promotion of art and the artists while establishing a network that makes online art sales possible. With the strength and structure of the DMG-network this should work quite well.
Still much to do but exciting times ahead.
Artnspire would serve to be the first in a new platform of websites.
More about this later and what it all entails, I can mention it consists of another 11 sites.
